if over the phone, always record conversations, in the same manner that the companies often say "this call is being recorded for training purposes". You too can say that "this call is being recorded for my protection"

That guy was incredibly chill after hearing "YOURE HOUSE WILL BURN DOWN". Not even questioning eho it may have been. Definitely sounds like a scam.
