yeah i get what your saying and to a degree you are right, but as an AuDHD person ive experienced multiple friend group falling outs that i really do think is on them for being childish and uncommunicative. or past dating troubles which is a bit different. ive already seen some pushback comments likely from ppl like myself who already have a hard enough time being understood as is and heard this as yet another reason for ppl to avoid giving us chances. plus goid ol rejection sensitivity. but i also dont wish my old snake friends ill will i just say its a shame and move on. and i have fine friend groups now so its not all

BIG emphasis on how they TALK about their past friendships! cuz lowk a lot friend groups could have been toxic but i feel like a big way to see whether that person's actually being fr is by how much they self-victimize talking about their previous relationships

i love you danny but unfortunately i will have to disagree with this take just a bit only because as someone who did come from a toxic friend group i had a hard time not attracting more people like when because what i thought was normal was actually insanely not. sometimes people come from bad friends maybe not evil but not all people are good especially in this generation people can be immature and just plain awful and be different to your face then behind your back and they find it entertaining maybe not all of them were bad but they chose to stay with the bad so they had to be left behind in order to move on from the people that hurt you

I always keep quiet and don’t tell people about my trauma with past friends because I’m worried I’ll sound like this despite having three healthy friends that I’ve had for 7-10 years 😭 I just unfortunately attract the toxic type of friend pretty often

yall say this but u gotta understand that some people have a low self esteem and surround themselves with bad people and eventually realize they are worth more also I play vrchat so its pretty realistic for a bunch of people to be bad
