I once got fired because my drawer was $200 short. They called me a week later to tell me that the AM was fired for stealing and that’s where the money went. Like cool bro, I told you to check the cameras but yall jumped the gun 😭😂

I was framed by loss prevention for stealing about $1500 from my drawer at the end of the night. Got fired, few months later they found out it was the loss prevention guy stealing and framing ppl.

When my husband and I were first married and BROKE, we checked our acct and there was an extra 60k in it 😳 it was so painful but we did the right thing and called the bank. It took them an hour to figure out their error.

Once pulled away from the drive through without counting and realized two days later I had miraculously “lost” $80. Called the bank as a last ditch and lo and behold they’d been over by exactly $80.

As a bartender, I took about $3k to my bank, asked her to kindly recount it for me with their money counter, she came back insisting it was $800 short of 3k. Had to get managers to count their entire system, cameras etc. I was right and she was hiding it.

we went to get a cashiers check for a downpayment to purchase our home. check was suppose to be 28k. looked at check in the car as the bank manager was running to our car with arms flailing. they had cut that cashiers check for 288k. Oops.

I used to do the Walmart deposits at night….id handle a couple million in cash and was never tempted….just cuz I’m too scared of jail….and Walmart makes u pay restitution so….😂

Honestly. Balancing my teller drawer was the most stressful thing ever. I would be on the floor and in the trash and crevices looking for that darn penny I was short!!!

I joked about balancing my drawer that was under by using my own money and got written up for it. the same boss that wrote me up for joking pulled money out of her wallet to balance her own drawer. I didnt work there for much longer and got her fired.

Got fired because they said I was opening fraudulent accounts. My manager was asking me to open accounts disguising it as training. Happened within the first 90 days and before the ethics training course. literally my first and only banking job and I had no clue what was going on. Moral of the story your ethics aren’t everyone’s ethics.
