It really depends on your philosophy. i think you're right that reformed doesn't mean innocent so I think she should get consequences. If it had been my choice and she was doing good in the community and helping others with her time, I'd have said life in prison. she still basically can't use her life and it would be a life of serving others. you can't come back from some things, but if the evil is gone and you are making strides to work in retribution for things you've done and you have genuine remorse, I have no issues with life in prison.
