I thank god everyday that my dad had the ability to break the cycle of emotional and physical abuse from his father. He’s spent my whole life letting me know I matter and that I am loved !! And I sit and think about how truly amazing that is for him to give something he was never shown or taught to me

Parents that fail us sometimes leave with one positive thing. We know our own children will NEVER have to go through what we did. My 2 grew up knowing they were safe, loved and I was ALWAYS present, every single day. Greatest gift I could give them. ❤
