I look at it this way... She obviously KNEW that there were restrictions because she made the effort to get the note from the doctor. If the woman would go out of her way to get a doctors note and then declared to sue the airlines once the note didn't work, I believe that woman would also sue the airline if she was allowed to continue and went into labor and things went wrong. Her mother had passed. Her responsibility is to her keeping her baby safe. Just my opinion.

Listen I hate the airlines but if she got a doctors note to fly she knew there maybe some questions at the airport. You don’t think to get a doctors note unless you think you need one!

Condolences to her and her family on the lost. I hate to say it the airline is correct and yes no one tells you. I did a trip while pregnant at 32 weeks. I had to research all possible airlines I’d be considering on using for travel and some required medical note and to send in 48hrs before flight. I was 39 and a high risk too but doctor said I had a healthy pregnancy and no signs of any complications. The airline was able to allow me to board with the disability/families group just to give me time to settle in. That I had to go to the desk and ask for. I had my note on me at all times just incase too but I was under the weeks stated and they didn’t ask me for it or anything. I feel for her for missing the last goodbyes but sadly the policy is there for not only safety concerns but liability concerns too. If she was to go in to labor on the plane with no medical assistance it would be bad because not only is she laboring it’s going to be hard to secure her down and land safely. Wishing her a safe delivery once the time comes but sadly I think she’s not gonna win the lawsuit. 🥲😢
