@artem_pankovich: Mercedes W204: Eliminating Creaks and Noises. • In this video, we address a problem many drivers are familiar with: the suspension of this 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class W204 began to creak, the car felt less stable on the road, and various unwanted noises and vibrations appeared while driving. The customer complained about an annoying squeak from the front suspension, especially noticeable over small bumps and body movements. During diagnosis, we discovered the real cause - cracked front control arm bushings. As the rubber inside the bushing had deteriorated, it created dry friction, which resulted in the persistent and irritating noise that could no longer be ignored. • In the video, we show the correct step-by-step procedure for replacing this hydraulic bushing. The control arm must be removed, the worn bushing pressed out, and the new one installed strictly according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Proper orientation is essential - even a slight misalignment can lead to premature wear or the return of unwanted noises, so accuracy is critical. • We also highlight an important technical requirement: the bushing bolt must only be tightened when the suspension is fully loaded, meaning the vehicle is resting on its wheels. This prevents excessive tension in the rubber at its working position and ensures long-term durability.
