I think people are really struggling rn and it makes them feel better to think there’s something wrong in the lives of influencers so they can tell themselves it’s ok that they haven’t lucked out like that. Because I know influencers put a lot of work in but it’s also a big chunk of luck allowing a lot of influencers to have done so well from it that it’s their job and they make good money from it. I think with the state of things right now jealousy is a normal emotion to feel about people who have managed to luck out like that. It’s horrible that people take it out on you though, what I mean is just that it’s not really personal. It’s just the state of things,

It’s so bizarre that when people see a man who lives 5 hours away from home wanting to spend Christmas with his own family, who he clearly doesn’t see loads, that they could see anything other than a green flag. How lovely of him to want to spend time with his loved ones, and how healthy it is if you also respect that rather than forcing him to spend another weekend making TikTok’s with your dad (that last part was a joke - just caveating before someone comes for me).

Someone messaged me with what they thought was a gotcha, when I said it wasn’t and explained why she replied ‘ahh, thought I’d caught you out there!!’ (It was that we were gonna call my little boy Giles which was actually just his middle name) and I was like why is everyone so hell bent on catching everyone out?!

Anyone who watches the podcast KNOWS that's your style of content and just how you talk to each other. But you can tell it's just a joke as your conversation flows so well and Rory laughs at literally everything you say, plus examples from stories over time just show how much he cares about you. The negative comments are people who clearly just watch the clips and have no critical thinking. We love the Kingtern + the pod 🫶

I think this every time I watch molly maes videos, she’s constantly having to explain herself, defend herself, knock herself down so she doesn’t get a barrage of hate and then people STILL manage to moan about something it’s so draining
