was in the BBBEE space earlier this year. government wouldn't hand out 80% of tenders if fronting was investigated more. fronting is basically getting someone who is more "BBBEE friendly" to bid for a tender, work with another corporate etc. if youre a white man and the sole director you dont get full points on the ownerhsip/control aspect of the BBBEE scorecard. but if you take your disabled female domestic worker then all of a sudden you get more points and a higher chance of success to winning the tender.

If you seat down and analyse his presentation and those objections from outside, clearly you know he’s good. Remember they can’t just fight him if there’s nothing good from him, they know that some will get arrested once he is appointed 🥺😞, this is why lot of people objected him to be appointed .

The problem is that the Supreme Court and the Concourt both upheld a ruling that he was not fit and proper and to date, those judgments have not been overturned. He is currently facing an application by the JSA to be struck off the roll of advocates. Even if he is one of the names to be recommended by the panel, President Ramaphosa will take this into consideration when he makes an appointment of NDPP. The odds are currently against him.
