This is the reason why Tokyo is viewed as a city with advanced fashion, because its walkability gives a reason to care about it to begin with. When you’re driving for much of your time and only between one shopping center to another, why even bother trying to care about fashion?

Sorry to double comment but I was thinking about this we talk about combating obesity through food, education, but literally walking is the most underrated exercise we look at every other country they have a lot less bc of walkable cities

I live in one of those cities and haven't had a car in 10 years. Actually liberating. I've said that the invention of the car has had a net negative impact on society.
