Agreed. Healthy empathy can feel and sympathize someone else’s pain without invalidating yours. Two things can be true. They can feel bad about what they did, and you can still feel bad about what was done and act accordingly. That doesn’t make you bad or diminish their pain. It honors yours. 💖💖💖
