I grew up in this bs and rebelled against it hard as a teen and adult. I left as soon I could. I watched it ruin multiple of my friends lives growing up. Luckily as an adult my mom has still never turned away from me no matter still being involved with them because she wouldn’t let her kid and grandkids suffer just because I didn’t believe

It traumatized my daughter when she needed my help no one in the hall helped. An Elders wife told my daughter to not talk to me her Mom. If you don't do what they say. They mistreat you by shunning you. Very clickish.As if they are better than other people. Jehovah God is over all period. As a witness for 10 years. I could not go back. Very judgemental allot of shunning of people.

When a kid is abXXX or RXxx they hide it and will tell the parents not to call and involve the police . basically they move the PExx to another congregation, btw if this happens to a kid probably happened bc the victim(child /kid )is not spiritual enough according to the elder(s) & that is supposed to "investigate the case .seriously a kid is not spiritual enough so he gets harmed.I left that cult when I was a teenager and it had a rough and conflicted life with my family because I was not a JW . I am happier than ever ,away from them.

They will tell your kids not to talk to their Parents if a parent is disfellowshiped. You go to the hall as a disfellowshiped person and when you tell them everyone has to stay away from you like the plague you are embarrassed to keep going.
