Genuinely. this idea of individualism, that you don’t owe anyone anything has rotted our generations brains. You do owe people things? You owe people empathy, sympathy, compassion and kindness. not apathy. We are fundamentally social creatures please treat people the way you would want to be treated. Your impact on others should be kind and graceful as the world is in itself, a cruel and unforgiving place.

Well I mean I’m in a household where you kinda lose empathy over time because feeling bad for someone doesn’t change them, so that’s why Idc abt other peoples feelings, most the time.
