Prolly not the same but my girl looked the same. We did all the treatments for three years. For those three years we lived on a creek. Like it was right outside our door. She never went into the water because she hated water with a passion. But it was right there where she was walked every day. Once we moved she healed right up and it never happened again. Vet said it must've been environmental.

I used to have great success with my pup after I started cooking him, bathing him with antifungal shampoo, and fed him daily probiotics and omega/mussel oil. Now this part sounds weird, but I would soak him in yogurt/ water mixture twice a month as well. It changed his coat completely!

This is going to sound weird, but have you tried giving him a couple tablespoons of good quality coconut oil? Along with the whatever the vet recommends, of course, and whatever food is best. My friends dog tank was like your boy and coconut oil helped. She didn't do anything else but that and unfortunately kept feeding him the cheap Purina that was causing his issues, but the coconut oil did help a lot with him. Be warned though, it may cause diarrhea until he gets used to it.

They always look so pathetic and sad even though we do everything to make the bath as minimally traumatizing as possible 😂 mine is noticeably happier when she’s clean, but god forbid we go through the process to get her clean

We had a dog that lost a lot of his hair and was getting scabby and we tried regular baths with oatmeal , lotions / creams. Now we give him a day allergy chew and it’s cleared up and he has all his hair again, not sure what allergy he has but it seems to be working 🥺❤
