I have ray ban and cheap glasses. No they are not the same. True ray ban might cost $5. But those cheaper glasses would cost much cheaper thus u getting lower quality. I feel it is normal for glasses companies to take a lot of profit. They made something like 100 models. How many u think they ended up selling? I would say a lot of them are sitting at store storage for many many years. Meanwhile they have to pay monthly rent, wages etc
