@travisambrosecoach: This might seem obvious, but as a former fearful avoidant this was an impossible puzzle 🧩 Contrary to popular cultural belief, vulnerability is not a weakness. Hiding it is. Because then you live in fear that you have so much to lose when someone sees the real you. For me, vulnerability meant saying: ▫️I’m unhappy ▫️I have unmet needs ▫️I’m unsure about this relationship Trying to pretend these things weren’t true for me was so much heavier to carry. And it’s a disservice to the other person because they fall for a version of you that is performing. That’s not the real you. And when the mask inevitably slips, so does the connection 💔 The truth is, real love starts where performance ends. When you stop curating and start being seen, you don’t lose people, you find the ones who want the REAL you. If you’re ready to stop performing as the person you think you need to be to be loved And start living authentically and building something real Make sure to follow and check out the link on my page 💗
