@its_no_joke_man_: This is a hala fruit (also called pandanus fruit). It’s made of many orange/yellow segments called keys that look like a mix of pineapple and pinecone pieces. The soft ends of the keys are mildly sweet and juicy, and people chew them for their juice. It grows in tropical coastal areas and is mostly fibrous except for the edible tips.
