I have a 2024 Outback with 26k miles…sometimes when I turn sharply, i.e. parking, and hear a clunk. Any idea what that could be? And the drivers window is sometimes very slow to go up after I roll it down.

So how often do you recommend the CVT fluid be replaced? On a previous car I began having issues at around 60k miles, changed the fluid, issue was resolved.

Our Subaru specialty shop has told us to just monitor our cam carrier leak until we have another repair that requires removing the engine and to just take care of it then. So far so good! It’s so slight we don’t even notice a change in oil consumption between oil changes at the shop.

Had a GR86. It was burning a quart every 1,000 miles. Basically was topping it of every fill up. Car had 5,000 miles when I traded in. Never again with Toyota or Subaru.

dude , i own a 06 forester xt turbo, I Daily drive it fast and hard , i changed the oil every 5k miles. never one problem in 10+ years, it never burns oil i check the oil levels and my doal catch cans are bone dry

Wild how all the years I worked for gm they were plagued with oil consumption on almost all engines. Since going to Lexus I’ve yet to in the past 4 years seen one car come in complaining of oil consumption
