It makes sense that she needs some kind of buffer between skin and bare metal, and I don't really care what it looks like (aside from the heels, those make no sense). What bothers me is that it's presented as an award in many of the games. It feels very pervy.

it's an undersuit. it's not like you could wear a hoodie under the power suit. I'm just indifferent to it. I do like the fusion one tho

She isn't weak w the zero suit. It was her enemies were armored out and had their full weapons. Her gun wasn't even a gun, it was just a stun gun.

Ive seen a couple of pieces of fan art that give her a sort of Jacket look, or put casual clothes over the zero suit, and it usually looks pretty good.

Smash 4/Ult was so close to being my favorite design but the damn rocket heels. I don't even know why they feel the need to give her heels all the time either. I get it adds some visual details but it sucks.

i think canonizing the agility and melee capabilities from Smash Bros. would be a solid move, giving variety of playstyle in a new sidescrolling game rather than giving her a dinky paralyzer pistol and nothing else. I just want to see more of Zero Suit Samus.
