I’m going to age myself a bit here… I walked into The Copper Kettle in Kenmore Square, Boston. Mind our own business when a band walked on stage, at 5 pm. Four guys in kilts and leather and jean jackets. I looked at my buddy, and we started laughing. I’d never heard of the Mighty Mighty Bostones before that day, but they absolutely rocked it.

So true. I owned a 100 cap room for 12 years and always loved it when big bands made a surprise visit.

I got to see Savatage at a bar in Colorado Springs on the Handful of Rain tour, I think in 94. I also go to see Fates Warning on the Pleasant Shade of Grey Tour at a bar called Pure Energy. These 2 shows were absolutely priceless!
