Ehh, nop. That isn't the meaning. Desvelado is that you didn't sleep enough or went to bed too late, but not necesarily that you are tired. You can be desvelado and not tired. In your 20s that's normal.

You’ll love this: the word comes from the saying “pasar la noche en vela” (spending the night under candle light), from before there was electricity; which turned into “des-velado” for “no candle”, as in, you’re out of candles. Estás desvelado (desvelada if you identify as she/her). ✨
