My partner’s parents had photos in their home with the mum of his children. I didn’t mention it to anyone as it was completely normal and understandable. I realised a few visits later they had taken them down which weirdly made me more uncomfortable!

Everyone says it’s no big deal. Imagine yourself in the new wives situation. Nobody wants to see pictures of your partners ex up on your in laws walls.

I’m re married and I still have photos of my ex husband in my home as does he of me in his home .. we have kids together.. it’s simple .. my mum and my ex MIL are the same .. I wouldn’t be taking them down

Nope, Tommy and sherry are the ah's. I'd never ask my mom to remove pics of my x and kids. I still have fam pics with my x. It's my kids pictures. It's their history. I have no right to delete them.
