Some people live in food deserts where the only option in walking distance for many is a target which is the point of original video. The target near me is a 20 minute drive from me it’s in a shopping center with a sprouts and a few fast food places and there’s a neighborhood like 10 minutes away sprouts is not going to have everything and if they do it will likely be too expensive for them so the next option is target or the dollar store which will not have produce at all. Thankfully I have a Walmart and a acme across the street from my house but not every one has that unfortunately

also just wanna say, they dont even sell fresh food at majority of targets.dgmw, i have seen a few full target GROCERY stores. but its not a grocery store. its a department store. very very different. if someone goes to target for “groceries” i promise you unless you do not eat anything fresh and not frozen or packaged, you are going out of your way to shop at target, knowing you will have to go to a whole other store for food.

FRRR BRO, when I was living with my parents we never went to target, it was seen as an expensive store that we could really only go to on like Christmas or some stuff. Trust me. No one needs target the only thing we really need is like a Dollar General in a Walmart and we’re fine 😭

You’re making this about white privilege when it’s just not. If a family that’s low income only has a Walmart near them or the small businesses over charge for everything, do you really expect them not to do what’s best for their family? Do you think they best option for them is to go out of their way, waste gas that could be used to go to work or take their children to school or spend money on a bus trip just to buy over priced groceries from a small business? Yes, if you have the means to boycott, then do it, but that doesn’t mean you shame other people who can’t. That’s what shes saying and yall r too dense to understand
