The pastor at my church last week told the crowd Santa wasn’t real during our new sermon series and there was an uproar on Facebook saying he had no right “ruining Christmases”. I’m sorry but we come to church for the truth and if your child’s entire Christmas was centered around Santa instead of Christ that’s the real issue

Very interesting!!! My children are grown but we never did Santa. It was about Jesus. My kids received 3 gifts just as Jesus did. My daughter’s favorite tradition was making a birthday cake for Jesus on Christmas morning. And yes we received a lot of judgement for how we celebrated Christmas.

We don’t celebrate Christmas. I left my old church that celebrates it and found a church that doesn’t celebrate any pagan holidays. We celebrate Christ everyday!

We don’t celebrate Christmas at all. Jesus is celebrated everyday in this home. He wasn’t even born around this time. I agree with what you’re saying otherwise! 😊

My household does not celebrate Christmas. We do observe Christ’s crucifixion & resurrection at Passover & the Days of Unleavened Bread, instead of Good Friday & Easter. And we acknowledge His birth during the Lord’s Fall Festivals, Day of Trumpets, & Feast of Tabernacles.

My family didn’t celebrate Christmas but I started celebrating when I had my daughter, never taught anything about Santa. I just made it into reward for good grades and good behavior. Now I have a grandson, 6 yrs old. My daughter asked him if he believes in Santa and his response “I believe in Jesus, He died on the cross!”
