I don't downsize my climbing shoes if I was climbing 5.14 maybe I would consider it but if you are a hobby climber no need to hurt and damage your feet for something you just do for fun

When I started out I went from 44 in ordinary shoes to 36 in climbing shoes. These days shoes are different, so now I go down 2 - 2.5 in all climbing shoes. More comfy tbh. 😅

Woah.... 😬 My street shoe is 42 (EU) and my climbing shoes are 41. I'm too old for painful climbing shoes. 🤣

I don't get this "how much do you downsize trend". All shoes are basically different? I wear 41 in street shoes. My first shoes were Tarantulace and Tarantula boulders being 39's fitting super "comfortable". Then i went to evolv shaman which are 42's I think and they were tight AF when I bought them(now feel like slippers but anyway). Also a pair of 38 mantras which I can barely fit on my feet, a pair of 39 mantras which fit tight but my go to's and just recently got a pair of theorys in 39 which feel like my feet with break any second lol.

Same with mine I wear 43.5 ish and I the "spoortiva tarantula boulder" size 41.5 they feel great

Idk how you do it, I'm always in so much pain. My scarpas are a better fit in 37,5 technically but I can't climb in them at all, it hurts so much. Went for the comfortable 38 instead

Normal shoe size 45 I go 42 in dragos and 41 in theories
