I'm lucky if I can fill my leg bag twice during the day, I can also wear my night bag fir hours and hours after I'm awake. I drink close to 4 litres a day too, I've no idea where the excess goes 😮💨

i have had mine for a few years and it does vary also on the weather as now its cold i am filling my day bag faster than i would in summer but i find it hard on going out as it can get embarressing when out when the bag swells and people notice as the womens toikets dont have many cubicles good job family are with me always but hate still waiting in queues, night time i wear a 3litre bag and it can get full

I work in a step up/down unit and we want you to pass half your body weight in ml every hour. 0.5ml/kg. So if you’re 60kgs we want for you to have at least a 30ml output every hour to ensure good kidney perfusion. Other than that we want for you to pee as much as you drink. If you drink two litres, we’d like to see (about) two litres come back out.

It massively varies for me. Some days I’m constantly at the toilet emptying it, others I can last a few hours. Some nights I nearly fill a night bag, other nights I’ve only got 200/300ml.

I’d say if you had a full bag every 12 hours is fine, if you didn’t have a catheter you wouldn’t wee overnight as much as you’re not drinking so try not to worrr about overnight. As long as it’s a nice yellow colour which yours looks like I wouldn’t be worried! Coming from a nurse here xxx

Everyone is diffrent ! I can empty my bag once in a day and then at night he do 150 but then some days I do 1.5 a night and then empty it every few hours in the day! It all depends on the person the problem and how much you drink x

i pass on average around 1L-1.5L per night, and around 2L total during the day, if im having a flare up day where im in bed all day ill sometimes use a night bag during the day those days
