All the work to take it apart, I would say, put a new piston, rings, wrist pin, bearing, and clips

Dingle hone the cylinder if it’s scored or lost some crosshatch. If rings were easily accessible I’d do that and throw it back together!

seems like the rings seized up just from sitting for a long period of time and it was not caused by overheating means it should be fine to run them as long as the bike doesn't have too many miles and isn't worn out and it does not seem to be
