I often suggest clients consider doing 5-6 deep breaths while sitting on the toilet. It’s something we have to do at some point (go to the toilet) so if it helps us to slow down and do deeper breaths to reset on many levels… why not use that cue?

Sometimes I don’t feel that it’s not that we have time. It’s just the amount of energy that goes into other things when doom scrolling on TikTok takes very little energy and if sometimes use as a coping mechanism when we don’t feel like we can do one more thing that day.
