Carpet in bedroom, I can’t handle the cold floors. But just primary, other rooms are hard wood. Like 100 yr old floors, subsequently my kids have said they’d never a house with bedroom : hardwood

I want carpet in the bedrooms and hardwoods everywhere else. I like my feet being cozy on carpet and hardwood is too cold in my bedroom.

I’m about ready to rip up hardwood and put carpet back everywhere-hate the noise, echoing, it’s cold, in winter. If I have to put rugs down everywhere I’d rather have carpet. We ‘live’ in our home it’s not a show piece-comfort 1st.

We upgraded carpet in bedrooms and upper level loft. Noise, barefoot comfort and warmth on our slab concrete in Minnesota is a huge benefit. Also dogs nails and constant click clack drives me crazy. Give me a quiet bedroom please.

Life in the South :
Hardwood floors are not for older people 55 & over because of plantar fasciitis . Can never go barefoot again on those hardwoods . Terrible on feet and back 🤷🏻♀️

Depends on home price, it’s crazy but nowadays you’ll see lvp flooring in a million dollar listing. Should have heated marble floors let alone hardwood at minimum at that price
