@reagansmolleneq: Had such a great experience at @Precision Strides LLC working on my balance in the saddle and overall equitation! 🐎✨ Using the simulator, Danielle helped me fine-tune my position. We started by finding that I was sitting heavier on my right seat bone, then worked through my jumping position where she spotted an extra movement in my shoulders. She also noticed that some tightness in my hip and knee caused me to cue more with my heel than my calf. After working through it together, she gave me stretches to help release the tension and improve my effectiveness and balance in the saddle. There was a ride like this for kids in Chuck E. Cheese like mad long ago. I hated it cause it made me feel uncomfy cause it vibrated and went too fast, they took it out like a year or two after ppl complained. It was not a normal ride..

Every simulator video has sm comments about how its not the same as a horse. Thats THE POINT. 😭Horses are all flawed beings and its supposed to be “perfect” so riders can practice position in a neutral setting without trying to compromise with the horses weakness or training. Thus making the rider stronger in their position to better deal with those differences.

Last time I rode a horse I was freaking out cuz I wasn’t used to feeling like a living thing move under me 😭 so if I ever rode again I think id have to get used to it- it’s so strange like yeah there’s a saddle but you still feel the muscles and stuff move so it’s like you’re not sitting on something solid, so it’s fun but if you’re not expecting it you’ll freak out like I did lmao
