my mom wouldn't wrap the gifts from Santa but had them laid out on the couch and the gifts wrapped under the tree were from her and our grandma

my family also opened gifts one at a time. i went to my ex’s christmas and they all opened them freely and it was pure chaos. would NEVER do again. you didn’t get to see what anyone got and who it was from, just pure greed :(

As a child anything that came from Santa was unwrapped - typically a stocking & one ‘big’ present. My husbands family always did stockings wrapped and they weren’t from Santa. For our son Santa brings a stocking (everything wrapped in Santa paper) and one main present, unwrapped

Santa left out all the presents unraped ( straight out of his toy sack) and my parents wrapped their gifts from them! I loved the magic of the Barbie house or toys put up just like Santa would i remember a bike one year! This time of year is so magical no matter what ♥♥♥

my mom always did the big gifts from Santa unopened and then the stockings opened. So I do that with my kids so it give the itial excitement!

Santa always wrapped all our gifts but they were set up around the fireplace with the stuffed stockings. Then one designated “Santa” would pick presents and read who it’s to and from and we watched each person unwrap each gift. We would to take “intermission” after a couple hours and heat up leftovers or do dessert 😂😂😂

Santa only does stockings at our house. I saw a post one time about kids comparing what Santa gets them for presents and it’s stuck with me. I don’t ever want to unintentionally make other kids feel like Santa doesnt love them as much.

I let my kids pick their wrapping paper ( paw patrol, Christmas spidey, hello kitty) then bows that I wrap with our gifts, then we sit some Santa gifts by the tree unwrapped like the stockings, some little gifts and then the big gifts 🎁 they’re in a huge BAG for LAST. Stockings, Santa gifts, then ours while I have my coffee 🥰

We’d come out Christmas morning to stockings set up with Santa’s gift next to it, all unwrapped! Gifts from everyone else are wrapped and under the tree. We do this with our kids now too.
