ad Genuinely if you ask me my favourite moments about the festive period and the ones I look back on most fondly over the years, its not the big events like Christmas Day, it is the most simple ones, like sleeping under the Christmas tree, having our annual beige buffet, or cosying on down altogether and watching a film. When they were younger weekend film afternoons were almost a weekly occurrence, but as they have got older we are a lot busier at the weekends and so are they, and so often we aren’t altogether on a Fri or Sat night. Which is why I find them even more special now. I love a cosy afternoon/evening watching a film together, even more so when they are Christmas films. Choosing a film is easy with TiVo. I would love to know your ultimate Christmas film? If I had to choose I would say Home Alone is my absolute favourite, but I am also a big fan of The Holiday and Love Actually.
