Sometimes she’s a wild-eyed lover, smashing glass and whispering impossible promises between the thunder of falling water. Forget the sterile, airbrushed landscapes of travel magazines. Capra’s beauty is serrated, ragged, refusing to pose for anyone’s approval. The waterfall gnaws at the mountain’s jaw like an animal with a grudge, baring its white teeth in a thousand shattered rivulets. Mist clings to your skin, tasting faintly of cold iron and forgotten snowmelt; the air is ripe with the scent of crushed pine needles, as if the forest itself has exhaled in your direction.
