This reminds me of when Jen was having postpartum issues and John treated her like normal so she was able to be herself for a little bit. Jen and Ty just did the same thing for Shawna and helped her feel "normal" for a bit

I appreciate that even when Jen found out Shawna was feeling weird she kept acting normal but gentler. So often when people grieve it’s hard because everyone walks on eggshells when you need some normal, but with kindness to deal with the emptiness. Understanding why she isn’t planning Christmas thing, why she doesn’t have energy, but trusting Shawna and thinking of her as fully human and capable at the same time.

Lost our baby right before Thanksgiving. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I’m relating to Shawna. Just throw in her having a panic attack every now and again and it’s like looking in the mirror 😂 seriously - thank you for the representation ❤️it sucks but community makes it less sucky
