without knowing your actual steps my guesses are: 1)cooked either too long/too hot making it it overcook a bit to make the brownie pudding into actual brownie. 2)either you didnt cook it with a waterbath/you did but didnt fill it halfway the dish(you have to fill enough that it reaches halfway from the dish that is holding the batter) 3)dish is too big and batter was not enough so it came out thin which in this case if you baked as instructed would cause it to overcook into brownie. 4)maybe you added a bit too much flour? or you didnt follow steps where you separate the wet and dry first and prepare the wet ingredients first and then slowly add the dry ingredients together til fully combined. maybe you also over mixed?(yes its possible to over mix) im no baker or a supreme court baking expert but through many attempts of baking experiences in my life these are some possible guesses or possibly a combination of guesses together. but my experience tip. if you fail the first time do not let it discourage you! try again! trust me its so worth it the next time and you will feel and taste the joy. Baking is patience and sorta a science. i hope if you try again that you will succeed 💖
