they all sucked. everyone knew this. notable exceptions: Peter Jackson's King Kong and Jedi Power Battles. the LOTR ones too.

Stuff like Fortnite and Raid: Shadow Legends happened with numerous tie-ins, especially Fortnite. Plus, any movie tie-in games end up being some sort of app.

Actually alot of them were just cheap cash grab, there were few movie tie ins that were incredible. I would also add the rise of mobile games, they know it's cheaper and can capture a wider audience if they make just a cheap tie in app
