I fought my landlord on this relentlessly. He pulled a genius Uno reverse. Instead of repairs he ended my lease “for my safety,” claiming it wasnt safe for me and I had 24hrs to move. He rented it out to the next unsuspecting person after having done no more repairs

I have mold in the ceiling of my bathroom, and I showed my landlord and he just told me to clean it with Clorox and I specifically told him that the mold had to be removed and he has not done anything. The mold is still there.

Are those tenants up to date with their rent though. Most of the time some tenants have every excuse not to pay rent.

My landlord did retaliate against me. They started raising my rent every year after I complained to the city health department. Now I'm living paycheck to paycheck. 😐

lol the bottom of my bathroom cabinet rotted through and the maintenance slapped a wooden board over the bottom and called it good, pretty sure the whole underside is mold

My daughter has asthma and they won't change my carpet to the hard floor. I called the housing for information and they told me they don't have to change it.

I have a great one. I checked my credit report and notice I was being charged $12,000 in late fees from a rental company. I called and asked for all the paperwork and charges they refused and are still to this day expecting me to pay all of it. I’m currently stressing.

I got evicted because I had them fix the problem instead they painted it over took me to court for missed payments they stole from me and put somebody in there right away

yeah. I have checked out homes where when I asked what they are doing with the ceiling water damage, was told at 1, the roofer told them there's no issue and they can just paint over it. While I saw signs of mold illness for those who live there. Can I report potential landlords?

It's sad, someone who wanted to rent their place said they just want to paint over it while I was able to sense an issue with their air quality right away. Roof person said it's ok to paint it...
