Short, clear ask, and articulating your value. That is what a cold email needs to do. Especially if you’re emailing someone high up on the food chain, they are getting sooo many emails, so the only way you’ll stand out is by making an impression with your level of organization and respect for their time

The healing centers I got scholarships to (again could never afforded it), I wrote similar about how they could long-term benefit from my "story"-reviews, experiences in their program and I would be so happy to share any time they needed more promotion once I completed their program. In my email wrote their benefits first then I laid out my trauma like a story thats how I landed the 3 scholarships out of the 24 emails I sent.
