from a plotline standpoint, sam is the closest thing main character they have and i stand by that. yes, dean is included in so much between the weight of the early seasons and the angels, but it ALWAYS. always started with sam.

they way the flip in the later seasons 😭 Dean does everything he can to save Sam from becoming a monster, and when he finally succeeds and gets Sam down the bright and shiny path, Dean becomes the monster and Sam has to steo back into the darkness to save him
