Give them a chance during your holiday baking this year!!!🎄👩‍🍳 ⸻ THE BEST REFINED SUGAR FREE SUGAR COOKIES EVER Ingredients: • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened • 6 1/2 oz cream cheese, softened • 1 1/2 cups maple sugar • 1 splash vanilla extract • 1 egg • 1 egg yolk • 1/2 tsp baking powder • 1/2 tsp cream of tartar • 1/2 tsp salt • 3 1/3 cups flour Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to your desired temperature (you didn’t specify, but usually 350°F works for sugar cookies). 2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, cream cheese, and maple sugar until smooth and fluffy. 3. Add the vanilla, egg, and egg yolk. Mix until fully incorporated. 4. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the baking powder, cream of tartar, and salt. 5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, followed by the flour, until a soft dough forms. 6. Wrap dough in plastic and let cool in fridge for an hour-overnight. 7. Roll the dough out to 1/4” thick. Use cookie cutters to cut cookies into shapes & bake until lightly golden on the edges.
