I might be wrong but I think the most recent model “Yuke” (?) is made to look like the standard sega Miku model to blend with those performances but is done by another company (possibly crypton itself) because sega still uses their model for new songs.

Fun fact: there is no significant difference. The model is the same as her live model which is a higher poly, commercial PDX model Marza owns the right’s to. There are normal map differences, but it is the official PDX-licensed model. It runs on the same R3 system which is rendered from Unity, which is why it looks different as it’s not ray scattered version you see Marza using (rendered in Maya, though honestly that doesn’t matter); it is like viewing a PDX model ported from MMD, cleaned up and in unity with some decent lighting. To keep in mind: when MMDers export PDX models from the game, the scripts available work but cause mesh issues. We also do not have the same IK morphs they officially use at marza that cryptons team has now; as facials are usually baked in the game or morphed (in earlier games). crypton has the original facial controls and likely a higher poly count. I also thought the face looked off, but if you watch recent LCD concerts with older songs being replayed, the lips are the same lols. Also the hair physics are just off, and if you watch closely at older magical mirais there’s a lot of hairgraphy done which crypton just leaves for the rigid body engine in unity to handle.

Well, I like every models but I love the classic base line of Magical Mirai model the most. She looks actually young and cute.

i knew i was missing a big one and its her. im gonna squeeze her in between 3rd and 4th i like her a lot shes extremely unique and recognizable and should really be used more

I adore the arcade model but what I don’t like is how they used it so poorly. The awful lipsync and the hands that look like they don’t articulate really bother me.
