This movie emotionally devastated me as a child. And Haley Joel Osment should have been nominated for an Oscar for that role. To this day I think he is one of if not the best child actors I’ve ever seen.

This is the kind of thing we have to pay attention to when messing around with AI. It seems small and nothing of consequence now but even now it’s advancing faster then we could have ever imagined. There will come a time an ai will be advanced enough we won’t be able to differentiate between “real” or “fake” life cause the lines will be blurred so much. We either let it happen with no safe guards or we be caring and careful for the best result possible for everyone
