Pumpkin scones 🎃🍂- Starbucks copycat 2 cups all-purpose flour 1/3 cup brown sugar 2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice 1-1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 stick (1/2 cup) of unsalted butter, cold 1/2 cup pumpkin puree (puree, not pie filling) 3 tablespoons heavy cream 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Vanilla icing: 1 cup powdered sugar 3 tablespoons heavy cream 1/2 tsp vanilla extract Pumpkin icing: 3/4 cup powdered sugar 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice 1 tablespoon pumpkin puree 2 tablespoons heavy cream 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. 2. Mix pumpkin, cream, egg and vanilla. 3. Then mix dry ingredients. 4. Toss butter cubes into dry mix and cut into it until there are small pea sized bits of butter. 5. Make a little well in the dry mix and pour mix into it the stir together. 6. Knead dough till fully combined on a floured surface. 7. Form into a round shape that’s 1-inch thick then cut into 8 pieces. 8. Bake on parchment lined cookie sheet for 13-18 minutes until lightly browned. 9. Allow to cool completely before icing. 10.
