No she paid for her seat. It’s her seat. The parents needed to offer compensation if they wanted her seat. It had nothing to do with her job.

The fact that this is even a question is insane. I have kids and when flying I made sure they had their own seats and that we were all together. Never had a problem ever because I planned and didn’t depend on others for any issues I could have encountered.
