I just recently got into them and I can just say I would've loved to meet him and hang out with him, he was very passionate with his music, and he was never the one to "dominate" the band or be like a dictator like a lot of others and he let everyone just do their own thing which made the original death metal sound. R.I.P Chuck you were loved and will always be missed

I discovered them randomly like a year ago and my first experience was the song spirit crusher. I was taking my daughter and her friend to their softball game and I was instantly hooked. Then I watched the documentary and this dude was the realest person ever. He was just pure and good but conflicted. The world misses this guy. Such an inspiration. And his music has stood the test of time.

spiritual healing did exactly that for me. a dude gave the tape to me cause he said he didn't like it and the rest is history. you could donate for his surgery at one point and the only time I ever took my mom's card was to send 5 bucks for it. a lot of young people talk a lot of bullshit these days about death but you weren't there to see what this man was able to bring to a bunch of metal kids who didn't have to feel alone anymore and were given a positive message
