Chihuahuas are sensitive little dogs. They are really good at reacting to how you are feeling. My little Milo can sense when I am upset, and he will start to bark and wag his tail. I melt instantly. They are smart dogs!

I needed this story. On Jan 2, 2025 I lost my mom. At 4:00 am this morning I woke myself up crying in my sleep- I was dreaming that I was hugging her in a church service and begging her not to go. I need a ChiChi right now.

Oh man, I got my rescue dog, Smokey, 14 years ago. Such a loving, calm, quiet boy, faithful and never bite anyone. He passed a week and a day ago. I'll miss him forevermore! 😭😭

I watched and listened, really listened, connecting it all to past experiences. The emotions I’d been holding back finally surfaced, and before I knew it, I was full-on ugly crying as you continued. From the other room, my Aussie heard me, sprinted over, and climbed into my lap, licking my face. She somehow knew exactly what I needed, comforting me through what was clearly a long-overdue ugly cry. We do not deserve them. TY
