I haven’t played a round since oct - went to the range and couldn’t hit the ball. Just completely lost all my passion for the sport. I was totally obsessed for a year and half whilst getting back into it and now nothing, I’m hoping this happens to everyone at some point

This is a big thing I've been working on. At the end of the day, the clubs are designed to hit the ball if we let it. Too much of my swing is trying to over control everything instead of just being an athlete.

The problem at the range is that people are never aiming like on the course, but instead are wanting to hit straight in a wide open field.

was telling this to a lesson i was giving to a high schooler today. “it’s just the range, commit to it” the trick there is you learn to commit to what you’re trying to do, so when the time comes in the course, you commit to whatever you’re doing in that moment.
