is it a hot take to say none of the games had really innovative stealth? (not including dlc abilities). like, hide or crouch, whistle, they come near u, stab. done theres snippets that had potential like the disguise feature in unity that they 🥀 or the invisibility but like nothing out of this world amazing

And where that guy was wrong? Old games also include unity, which is probably one of the best stealth in series. The problem with new game's stealth is lack of gadgets, you just use bow and hide in grass, big respect to mirage and shadows for bringing back actuall gadgets

Still better than the new ones where a normal guy needs to be bashed in 50 times with a sword just because he has a higher level than you and he’s a “boss” (unless you kick him off a ledge which instakills him cause of fall damage)

Thank you for this. I’d rather people just come out & say they liked the older ac games because the gameplay was simpler & easier for them. There’s nothing wrong with that, but to say the older gameplay is better is eye rolling.
