Turn the water valve off inside, open up the faucet outside and also take notice that that is a protected faucet.That's a backflow on the top.So it doesn't freeze it releases any moisture out.The top, so this is just false.Advertisement

An insulated bag will only work if there’s a heat source. That is on the exterior of the house. Turn off the water supply on the inside of the house and leave the valve open so water can’t freeze in the pipe and break the pipe.

That’s a frost proof hydrant. When it gets shutoff. It drains the line a foot inside the building. A seller should know this.

That is a frost free spigot … it cuts the water off inside the foundation… it needs no protection on the outside..🙄🙄🙄

last year during the seattle ice storm I had no idea i had to winterize my faucets and a pipe burst from it freezing. Ill never make that mistake again.
