The absolute audacity especially in this day and age to take a book based on the dangers of a totalitarian government and turn it to a fun kids movie with sci-fi and action elements? And by the looks of it a good ending? It’s an attempt to rewrite history to make totalitarian leaders look funny and harmless. It’s so obviously calculated as propaganda for kids, it’s horrifying
